Maywood Covenant Youth Group is for 7th-12th graders! We have five core values for MCYG, which include: fun, connection, growth, celebration, and reach. Through these values, we seek to make MCYG a place where students feel welcome and encouraged to ask questions, to explore the Bible, and to dive deeper into a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

Each Wednesday night begins with a light supper available to all at 5:45 PM with MCYG following at 6:30pm and going until around 8 PM. 


The format for the night usually includes a game all together, announcements for upcoming youth events, some time in worship though music, and a lesson to challenge and encourage. Come out and be a part of our group!

Sunday School - 

during the school year

Every Sunday morning at 9:15, 7th-12th grade students meet together to dive deeper into the Bible.


This school year, the all Sunday School classes will be working from the same curriculum, The Gospel Project. This is to help facilitate more conversations even after class is over.

Upcoming Youth Events and forms

Maywood Covenant Youth Group is fortunate to have resources through both our church in Foley and the Evangelical Covenant denomination at the regional and national level. Because of this, we have some events that take place yearly that we want to help ease your navigation to! 


*Some of these forms can be filled out on the site where you are directed, but others must be printed, completed, and turned in to the appropriate party. Reach out to the youth leader with questions.

    Camp sign-ups are open to grades 1st-12th. Here are the sessions that we attend:


    Frontier Kids (1st-3rd grade): July 5-7, 2023 (Wednesday-Friday)

    Cost: $245


    Trailblazer #3 (3rd-5th grade): July 16-20, 2023 (Sunday-Thursday)

    Cost: $425


    Junior High #2 (6th-8th grade): July 9-14, 2023 (Sunday-Friday)

    Cost: $435


    Senior High (9th-12th grade): July 30 - August 4, 2023

    Cost: $440


    If a different session works better for your schedule, and your student is in the appropriate grades, you're welcome to sign up outside of the sessions listed above! 


    We don't want to see anyone missing out on camp... especially not for financial reasons. Early Bird discount codes are available on the bulletin board at Maywood. If you are in need of a scholarship or financial assistance, reach out to the office and we'll see what we can do.

  • Student form - Update yearly in september

    Safety is among our top priorities and it is important that there be a transparency of expectations between leaders, parents, and youth. Each year, we ask that parents and students come together to complete this form so that we are equipped at Maywood to respond if any emergency or injury may occur.
