What are sunday's like at maywood covenant church?
We gather at 10:30 AM (10 AM during the summer) to worship God and encourage one another. Our goal each week is to direct our attention to Jesus Christ, and reorient our lives around his purposes. The service includes a blend of singing contemporary worship choruses and a variety of recent and traditional hymns, led by our worship team. We pray for needs in our congregation, as well as in our community and our world, and we listen to a message from the Bible, that teaches us how to follow Jesus in our daily lives. Our hope is that our worship will not be a show we watch, but an act in which we participate.
The service is informal, and dress is casual. Come as you are. You will be accepted!
On the first Sunday of every month, we celebrate the Lord's Supper. This sacrament is open to all who profess faith in Jesus Christ.
Children at Maywood
During the service each Sunday, we offer a nursery for the little ones (3 years old and younger), who are cared for by loving volunteers. Bags filled with enjoyable activities are available in the back of the sanctuary for children who attend the service. In all we do, we want children to feel that Maywood is a place of welcome and acceptance.
