WHO WE ARE

Maywood Covenant Church is a community of believers who seek to follow Jesus through the everyday realities of our lives.

We accomplish the mission through four strategic priorities:

  1. We center our lives upon the Word of God. We seek to equip people to know the Bible and integrate its teaching into their whole lives.
  2. We engage in worship to our living God. We seek to lead people deeper into an experience of God, growing in our ability to celebrate God, know his heart, and follow his ways.
  3. We seek to make disciples. We seek to introduce people to Jesus and show them how to live like Jesus.
  4. We seek to transform community. We seek to bless each other in our church family, as well as bless the community around us, through acts of compassion, mercy, and justice.

We are ordinary people, broken and blessed, grateful to be the recipients of God's extravagant love.

We are held together by the One who is our Center, Jesus Christ, and we seek to be a place of Hope, Refuge, and Service.

Whether we are worshiping together at church, active at home, work or play, we believe the call upon our lives is to love God with our whole being and to love our neighbors unconditionally.
